so-soI've been trudging through this for ages. I anticipated its being quite the TBR expander, but that's not how it turned out. I found it rather dry, while some of the book choices were just plain bizarre: The Celestine Prophecy? G.K. Chesterton's "Life of St. Francis" but not the saint himself? It reads like it was devised (commissioned?) as a project, rather than through genuine feeling for the genre. By no means terrible, but rather disappointing.
