Bhutto tries to explore what created a global marketplace for Bollywood, Turkish Dizi, and K-Pop. As a fan of Dizi, I was disappointed that nearly 60% of the book focused on Bollywood and Indian vs. Pakistan politics. She describes each of the media and then discusses local politics, which I did find somewhat interesting, but I must have missed what gave them universal appeal & was bored. Originally from NetGalley, I bought the audio to finish.
