so-soI liked some aspects of this book more than others. I saw evidence of some research, and I wanted the happy ending. The cowboys weren't believable, though, and Montana seemed more populated and civilized than I think it really was. Cute.

I've decided to take the Moby Dick approach and skim the sections that don't appeal to me. In Moby Dick, that's the detailed passages about killing and butchering whales. In here it's the musings of Nick.
