I had low expectations as I read ā€the hidden hoursā€¯ prior, and found it really dragged on and I stopped caring by the time I got to the end, so this was SO pleasantly surprising! I stayed up until 2am to finish this book as I was desperate to know what happened, and it‘s been a while since a book has got me like that. Also, of course I‘m a sucker for an Aussie set fiction
