I would this book in my classroom because I think it has a great message that you can't expect others to do the work for you. In order to be fully satisfied with the end result, you have to put in effort as well.

Little Red Hen written by Lyn Calder. This is a retold story. The use of repetition in the story emphasizes why little red hen ate the bread by herself in the end because she was tired of nobody helping her. Cute book to explain the moral which is “you have to work hard for what you want in the end.“

The message this story portrays about helping others is so strong and would be something good to read to children. The earlier they learn about this, the more they will do it.

I loved this book and would definitely read it to my classroom! The plot is simple and direct and children would be able to make predictions about what is going to happen next.

Little Red Hen by E Calder was written in 1988. I really liked this book and it definetly showed the signs of traditional literature! The ending was definetly my favorite part of the whole book!

I predicted the message of the book because of how she was doing everything herself. I still enjoyed reading it. The plot is simple and direct.

The message of this book is very good and the illustrations are very cute. I think this would be a good book for children to read because of the plot and the message.

I liked this part of the story becuase she got to eat the bread herself when nobody helped her

This would be good for younger kids to enjoy maybe kindergarten while learning you need to help people if you want them to help you

This is a traditional literature book. I liked it because it could be read to younger kids when many of the traditional literatures are for older kids
