This book made me think very seriously and had me intrigued for the whole book!
pickThe Desert Is Theirs was written by Byrd Baylor in 1975. This book has been very different from all the ones I have read. It definetly should be read by older kids or even an adult to kids. The illustration was very unique and intriguing, and probably my favorite part about the book!
