I'd Rather be in Paris
I'd Rather be in Paris | Misty Evans
1 post | 1 read
CIA operative Zara Morgan has a reputation as a loose cannon. Now she's got a chance to prove she's a competent field officer, but she's been paired with Lawson Vaughn. The man's sexy as hell, but the covert ops team leader lives and breathes protocol. Lawson specializes in high-risk search and rescue, not missions that involve tracking down terrorists. Especially while trying to keep the lid on a partner who has a problem with authority and skates by on wits and bravado. Even before they get on the plane for Paris, they're under each other's skin—and fighting a scorching sexual attraction. Soon they're dancing a tightrope with each other as well as their quarry—a terrorist who's about to unleash a biological terror on the Muslim world. And Zara is the first target. With her life, and that of millions of innocent people, on the line, Lawson must become the one thing he despises. A renegade.

Who donates a signed book? I keep mine on a special shelf.
*side note: I once had lunch with Misty Evans and several other writers that a friend had done PA work for. I was too overwhelmed to ask for an autograph. I kept wanting to shout to the restaurant at Starved Rock Lodge "Don't you realize who you are eating lunch with?"
