This HF book tells the true story of what happened in 1912 with the sinking of the titanic. This true story have explicit details about the ship, the crew, passengers, and even a timeline of events from the time the ship took off, to the sinking. Even how many people were saved and how many were lost. Very interesting to read!
This book would be best RA or PR. Even B, D, and A would be great with this book!

Summerm https://www.penguinrandomhouse.com/books/366567/dk-readers-l3-titanic-by-mark-du... UDL principles 3.1 (activate or supply background knowledge) and 7.3 (minimize threats and distractions) would be great for this book. Also the ESOL 6 (continually monitor students comprehension) and 11 (place language in meaningful context). #ucflae3414su19 (edited) 5y
Summerm 7.3 (This is a book aimed for young learners, so getting rid of threats and distractions is crucial for young learners to be able to pay attention to what is being read).

6 (since they are young, it would be very helpful to them to make sure they are comprehending what is being read).

DrSpalding Random House along with Scholastic is one of my favorite publisher resources on the web. Continue to use them! Again nice alignment to appropriate principles and strategies. 5y
