Why yes I took my first week of my child's life to read a book on an accounting scandal, what, you didn't? The care, and detail, with which the authors give their subject here is remarkable. Honestly not sure this story is something that can be easily followed by someone without a corporate finance or accounting background, as the matter is complicated by nature, but ultimately this book shows the smartest guys in the room were pretty dumb.

Surprisingly readable for how complex the Enron scandal was. Sadly, this has been languishing on my shelf since 2006 so it‘s a bit outdated by now but I was still sucked in.

Time for another #24in48 challenge - and this one was quick for me. I have all my TBRs together and organize them by height, grouped in the year I got them. These are all my unread TBRs from 2006, the oldest year on the shelf. Maybe time to get to a few of them...
