Jessica‘s still struggling with finding her own friends at #SVJH… but when Lacey suggests she join cross-country with her, she readily agrees. Cool girl Lacey only wants Jessica to cover for her for missing practices & meets to spend time with her high school boyfriend, Gel. Jessica agrees, but finds her competitive spirit & friendship in teammate Bethel McCoy. Meanwhile, the love triangle brewing amongst Liz‘s friends continues to bubble!

JenlovesJT47 What do you think about all of the new characters? I only ever read the first one. 2w
TorieStorieS @JenlovesJT47 I mean, I miss the old gang— and it‘s extra exciting when they make cameos, but the new folks are all right, I guess. But I don‘t think I‘ll miss them once I get to the end. It is nice to see more diversity though— and one of the popular girls is even overweight without being too shamed, which is the most shocking part! 🤣 2w
JenlovesJT47 😅😅😅 oh Francine and her fat shaming ways lol. 2w

TorieStorieS @JenlovesJT47 It seems like Kristin‘s character is a pointed response to that… but doesn‘t stop her mother from shaming her, so obviously the page isn‘t completely turned on that stance, hahaha! 2w
JenlovesJT47 Lol, baby steps! 2w
TorieStorieS @JenlovesJT47 Indeed! 🤣 2w
