I read this between Aug 8 & 11 and gave it 4 ⭐️ on Good Reads. I miss the Edward Gorey cover on this book. The John Bellairs novels & PBS Mystery in the 80s introduced me to Gorey‘s artwork. Anyhow the story was a lot of fun. And I am 90% positive I read this when I was younger. I love the fact that Johnny is a kid and he is anything but perfect.
