While Gemma is catering a funeral, the widow is murdered. The CID in charge (not Devlin) has decided Mabel (one of the old biddies) is the only person to look at for the crime. Of course Gemma has to investigate to help her out. My favorite scene?…when Gemma has to help the old biddies escape from a locked balcony. 😂

I enjoy this cozy series. It‘s fun to see what kind of trouble will come up for the main character and the village of characters around her. This was my #BookSpin for November and it was a nice switch from some of the more series stories I‘ve been reading lately.
