Dubious Documents
Dubious Documents: A Puzzle | Nick Bantock
2 posts | 3 to read
From the creator of the bestselling Griffin & Sabine series comes a visual epistolary puzzle posed by a mysterious character named Magnus Berlin. Readers must study Berlin's introductory note, list of clues, and 16 multifaceted notes and envelopes to decode cryptic anagrams, picturegrams, number puzzles, and wordplay. When solved, each clue reveals one word—but the rest remains a mystery. Packaged inside a folio with a tuck-in flap cover, spine stitching, and all 16 envelopes bound, Dubious Documents is an art object, keepsake, and puzzle in one treasured volume, and a distinctive gift or self-purchase for fans of puzzles, riddles, and anyone who enjoys an exquisitely designed challenge.

Was going to go to Festival of Books, but the Grand Prix is in town so I'm using my car to save a parking spot for my neighbor who has to work today (I have a garage). Parking in my neighborhood is atrocious. Anyways, will spend the day trying to figure out how to find out what Lorenzo's script actually says. 🤓🤔 The art is gorgeous, btw, but I liked the author's Griffin and Sabine trilogy immensely so not surprisingly I like this too.

Nute I really enjoy his books. Didn‘t know about this one. It looks gorgeous! 2mo
Swe_Eva @Nute It's really beautiful! It's not a "reading" book, like G&S were, more a puzzle where you have to find clues in the artwork. There are some hints, but it's proving tricky. ? 2mo
Nute Oh, I might like that even more. I‘m so into puzzles!😊 2mo

I found this today at Lucy‘sBooks in Astoria Oregon. It promises to be a devilish diversion.
