This was much slower read for me the most James Patterson books. I enjoyed the storyline and the development of the main characters. Lost it‘s way in the middle but overall a fairly decent read.

At first, i was confused about the 2 different storylines in one book. But it did have a reason they tied together. Fast read as always. Patterson never disappoints!

I enjoyed the book. Ruby is a likable character as a newbie lawyer. Book is actually two different stories. Both understand trials and both dealing with interracial relationships in the Deep South. Title kind of perplexed me but I understand now.

I finally got around to finishing I‘ll Be Gone in the Dark, so naturally I had to get my hands on another murder mystery. So far, I‘m so enthralled with this book that I skip my before-work-naps just so I can continue reading 📖 I hate having to put it down! I love a good whodunnit!

Fast read and decent but not outstanding. I think it was originally a Bookshot. I don‘t know if 2 were added together or he added on part 2 to make it a novel. Same characters, 2 stories.
