Pickpick

I absolutely love how thought-provoking the notions of redemption, deserving/worth of happiness, & price for severe mistakes are in this series. As we watch Shoya mature & grow, we see him evolve emotionally. We also get insight into why Shoko's so "tolerant" of particular behaviours. Beautiful exploration of the internal conflicts that come with living with disability, & trying to atone for sins committed. 5/5.

Everything I've currently got out from the library, with the last four volumes of A SILENT VOICE stacked together. I can't wait to binge on them this weekend!

BookBabe ARCHIE? 😮 omg. That was my favorite comic as a kid — I was addicted! What is this new version you've got here? 8y
xicanti @BookBabe they've rebooted all the Archie series for the modern era! I read the first two issues last December, and they were AMAZING; all the Archie goodness I loved as a kid, but with contemporary sensibilities. I'm hoping the rest of the volume measures up. 8y
