We were supposed to be leaving for Scotland today. Instead, we‘re gonna drink some whisky and read through these books. It‘s fine. Totally fine. It‘ll be just like being there 😭😢😭

LinesUponAPage I am unhappy that we have all missed some milestone events because of this darn pandemic. I feel though the most for those who have lost loved ones, so i guess missing milestones is not big deal If we get to have another day. 😉 4y
marleed That‘s a very healthy perspective! 4y
Bookish_B @Lifeisasnap I didn‘t think I was implying it is as big a deal as people dying. I think I was just expressing that I‘m sad not to be able to go and I think it‘s ok to be? 🤷🏻‍♀️ 4y

Hooked_on_books Oh man, that sucks! You should blast bagpipe music, too, for a wee Scottish atmosphere. 😬 4y
LinesUponAPage @Bookish_B oh no. I didn‘t mean it that way. I just meant it‘s hopefully something you get to do still later on in the year. I feel like right now my too optimistic view sometimes forgets there are people dying and i have to remind myself of that. Sorry if it sounded mean. I didn‘t hear it that way while tying it. 4y
