Onto the next. This one tells stories of articles found at the Ground Zero site. I strongly believe that artefacts tell us far more about the victims and survivors of such an event than anything else. Their capacity to humanise the people who were dehumanised through these vile and inhumane acts is so very important.

I‘ve been to the 9/11 Museum, and this book presents an excellent selection of artifacts housed there. I was hoping the book would feature more of the items kept in the “no photos allowed” section of the museum, but I guess that does encourage more people to visit the site and experience it for themselves.
