Pickpick

I enjoyed this book for its portrayal of English school teens. I haven't read a lot of those with guy protagonists, and I thought the way they acted was done well. I think the entire fantasy pov could have been left out, as it was a retelling of the same story in metaphors. Other than that, I think it showed bullied kids' trauma pretty good, and it showed what not talking does to friendships. Not a fan of the queer slurs used for the bullying.
