Pickpick

This short autobiography about Ruby Bridges is an excellent book for young readers. It highlights most of the key details that actually occurred during the 1960s, which includes segregation and equality. These two topics were extremely controversial during this time period. Yet, Ruby did not give up hope. She was a very courageous six-year-old that stood tall and truly made a difference for African Americans. ⚖️ #EQUAL-EDUCATION
