so-soAnyone who is avid fan of Conan Doyle‘s great detective will find this a strange read. As the title suggests, it is less about Holmes and more about Professor Moriarty. However, the real lead in this book is a woman who falls for the professor even as he succumbs to her charms. Having written Holmes novels, I bring a certain bias to my reading. The book is fine on its merits but when measured against the Canon, it just seems a very odd fit.
