ST will never be as good as Alan Moore‘s iconic run. Case in point, ST‘s co-creator delivers the absolute worst iteration I‘ve ever read. The book relies on previous decades of better storytelling for us to understand who the characters are, as they are presented as flat cut-outs who all speak similarly. Also, the art is atrocious. ST is drawn like HULk, a green steroid bodybuilder, when he is actually a shifting bundle of roots and vines!
