Pickpick

Thom returns to his childhood home and discovers fairies are real, in this fairy tale for grownups.

This book was well written, but at times too descriptive. His visits to the fairy land are described in too much detail and I wished we could get to the action sooner. The ending was satisfying, but I could have done without the comparisons of Thom to Jesus Christ. Overall a good book.

My current read. The cover is amazing. The design is raised.

LitStephanie It is pretty. How is the text so far? 3y
ReadingOver50 @LitStephanie he is a good writer. It is starting to be too much description, like how Stephen King writes. 😁 3y

What I thought this was: It's a fairy tale for adults! It's novel length! And horror! I like horror.

What this actually was: Middle-aged man spots a fairy masturbating in the woods, describes her barely pubescent body in detail, has erection.

What I did: Stopped reading.

Guy goes home after stroke, discovers fairies are real. Lots of sex in many forms from self pleasure to rape.
