It's possible that my brain lacks imagination or maybe I'm too cynical. I just kept waiting for something bad to happen. But it never really did. Indigo is a great kid who people instantly trust. He makes friends easily and is loyal. The book was fine, very colorful... but just not for me.

This is one of the most heartwarming books I have ever read. It's a little bittersweet for me, b/c I finished it in the ER with my 3yo, who broke his leg today. I cried over the book & over my son & over every lost kid who hopefully will 1 day find a home & their place in society. The only thing keeping this from being a 5-star review is some editing issues, but that doesn‘t keep me from encouraging everyone to read it! 4 out of 5 stars.
