The Keep of Ages
The Keep of Ages | Caragh M. O'Brien
2 posts | 4 read | 3 to read
In the fast-paced, high-stakes conclusion to the Vault of Dreamers trilogy, Rosie travels to a derelict theme park to shut down dream mining once and for all. Determined to expose Dean Berg's dream mining operation to the world, and desperate to find her suddenly missing family, Rosie follows a series of clues across the country, where she discovers an abandoned, horror-themed amusement park hiding a labyrinth of tunnels beneath its grounds. There, Rosie uncovers the vault, where her sister sleeps among the dreamers she is determined to set free. Meanwhile, nefarious subliminal messaging embedded within the Forge Show poses a danger to all who watch. And Rosie discovers the terrifying implications of mining and unlocking the consciousness of countless victims. Propulsive and deeply speculative, The Keep of Ages concludes the Vault of Dreamers trilogy by taking readers on a wild and satisfying ride.

Pickpick

This book is the final one in The Vault of Dreamers trilogy. I loved these three books so much. The characters were endearing and captured my heart. I loved the idea behind it. Very fun read.

Goodreads has some great suggestions of books coming out in August by authors I've already read. I'll skip Domina as I wasn't a fan of Maestra (& I know most Littens weren't either). I've only read A Man Called Ove, and I've been wanting to read Backman's others.
For #Recommendsday: The Vault of Dreamers series is so fun and well-written and Keep of Ages is the conclusion! I also read Tijan once & she is a sexy, guilty pleasure...

Kaylamburson Oh and Young Jane Young is AMAZING!! Very different from Storied Life (one of my faves), but just as good! The Clements book is random from a book I read in middle school and loved (Frindle). But he is great for reluctant young readers! 7y
Lola @Kaylamburson So happy to that about YJY! I was excited to snag an ARC at ALA. 😂😂😬at the bookish abbreviations 😆 7y
Kaylamburson Yes!!!! Read it soon! It's also super relevant. 🇺🇸 There are never enough abbreviations! Lol @lola (edited) 7y
