It's been a while since I read a play, so I was glad to find that Soto's Novio Boy was a comedy. The plot focuses around Rudy preparing for and going out on a date with Patricia. Along the way, Rudy's family and best friend offer their help, whether or not it's wanted. Filled with amusing dialogue and scenes, this teen romantic comedy is a cute read. #play #comedy #latinxbooks
