I'm really happy with how this series is playing out. Though these stories are mostly heartbreaking, I feel like I'm being let in on the troubles of real Saudi women. I can't believe these books are non-fiction! Definitely a must read for anyone Interested in the Middle East or women's rights!

This book is about Saudi Arabia and one family's life there. It focuses mostly on two girls trying to grow up in a unequal society. It is a shocking and interesting read. It's based on true life and that makes it even more distressing. As a book this was very good and I enjoyed it a lot. But the story itself is very tough.
