A short novella set in Kate Daniel's world, focussing on Andrea and Raphael. Lovely to see some consequences of the events of book 3 (Kate convalescing!) and a bit on an in-joke set-up. Sweet, but not really a tale to read in isolation.

I love that we get to know more of Andrea's past, personality, and feelings. I wanted to know more about her, and this novella was great for it. I also love that even though this is part of the Kate Daniels world, the atmosphere, narrative, etc was tailored for Andrea Nash. She was the protagonist here, and I loved it.

Now please don't misunderstand, I also love Kate Daniel greatly 💞
