Now reading the newest Abby Jimenez.🥰
The Arcane Society did sprayed edges, special editions of two Ilona Andrews' books - Iron and Magic and Blood Heir. Mine finally arrived today. They are gorgeous. And signed!

I loved this one. It was more historical fiction than mystery, which I'm very OK with. It takes place in late 1700s Maine and our protagonist, Martha, is a midwife. It starts when Martha is asked to examine a body found in the river. A lot happens from there both in her family and in the community. I adore Martha. And I adore her marriage with Ephraim.
Tuesday the 21st seems to be big pub day. Here's what I'll be adding to my library's collection next week.
Starting this one now. I'm in the perfect mood for a historical mystery.
A+++++ I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It was weird and beautifully written with an interesting take on time travel. I just really like books that make me feel like I'm in some sort of fever dream.
Sneak peek of books out next week. They are ready for me to catalog.😍📚
May #BookSpinBingo is all set. Starting with The Ornithologist's Field Guide to Love.
This fantasy mystery was absolutely fabulous. I loved everything about it - setting, characters, magic system, and the mystery itself. I especially loved the dynamic between our main character, Din, and his boss, Ana. Lots of lovely sarcasm with obvious respect. Can't wait for the next book!
#botm has dropped their books super early in the morning the last couple months. May books are here! I went with the tagged, the new Christina Lauren, and the short story collection they just announced are publishing.
I went to my apts mail room to pick up a package and saw a FairyLoot box in there with my name on it! They forgot to send the shipping email, so I had no idea it was waiting for me. It's their first Romantasy box. The reviews are pretty underwhelming for this book, but this edition is very pretty.
"Fear men, Luzia," he said." Fear their ambition and the crimes they commit in its service. But don't fear magic or what you may do with it."
I'm now all caught up with my March special editions. Received the March adult fantasy book from Owlcrate today. Love the red.
Starting the new Leigh Bardugo today.😍
I'm 31% done with this ARC, the 2nd book in the Lyonesse trilogy. For some reason I got it in my head this was a duology (it says trilogy on the cover!🙃). So now I'm guessing this book will have a devastating cliffhanger, as Simone is known to do, and I'm not sure if I'm prepared.
As librarians like to say, "Every book its reader". This book is not getting much love on goodreads. But I adored it. Loved the world, the magic, and the characters. It just felt very unique and the mystery element really pulled me in.
Fairyloot is a little behind in sending out boxes, so I just received March's Adult Fantasy book. But it is absolutely gorgeous.
This beautiful Sunday I'm starting The Longest Autumn by Amy Avery.
The weekend is here! I'm starting two books. I'm listening to Sociopath. And I'm reading an ARC of A Novel Love Story.
Today's #bookmail included Leigh Bardugo's new release and my April #aardvarkbookclub pick, Expiration Dates.😁
My April #botm box was delivered today. Such pretty covers.😍
I had a Dr appt in the "big city" this afternoon, so I stopped at Barnes and Noble on the way home. I wanted the new Leif Enger book. Also found a Persuasion I don't have yet and some pretty metal butterfly bookmarks.
I started the newest Immortals After Dark book and discovered an author signature on the 1st page. Probably a digital signature? Either way, cool find.
#botm and #aardvarkbookclub both dropped their books today. I picked four total. Dragonfruit wasn't on my radar at all, but loved the cover and book description. So I ended up with two romances and two young adult books
Litsy's working for me again! I can now post what I'm reading. I'm starting Heartless Hunter.😄
I work tomorrow and one of my tasks will be to get Tuesday's releases in the catalog.
I'm starting Larissa Ione's newest paranormal romance. It's Demonica the next generation.
#bookmail
I enjoyed Everyone in My Family has Killed Someone very much, so I ordered the next book featuring Ern.
Now starting the newest Victoria Speedwell mystery.🕵♀🦋
Absolutely loved this one. Emily Henry just really hits my funny bone. I love the banter in this book. It has a little bit of fake dating, but it's really about two people helping each other while they fall in love. Out 4/23.
I'm 20% into an ARC of Emily Henry's next book. I love it so far.
Starting this historical romance today.😁
Ruby Dixon posted about her October release, Bull Moon Rising. It's being published by Penguin and the 1st edition is so pretty. I definitely pre-ordered.
Currently reading an ARC of Nalini Singh's next Guild Hunter series book.
Currently listening to Everyone in my Family has Killed Someone.
#aardvarkbookclub shipping has been so fast these last couple months. Here are my March picks.
My cataloging cart is full of books coming out on Tuesday.🤩
