This is a gorgeous story of a woman alone in a marriage and the deepest bonds she rekindles on her return to the place and people she left behind, to ways of living and loving she thought she‘d lost.

“You Will Never Leave“ is an outstanding thriller with a spooky setting, intriguing characters, and non-stop suspense. N.L. Hinkens has crafted a story that will keep you hooked from start to finish. If you love a mystery that keeps you guessing, this book is a must-read.
Loved it! The characters in this novel are incredibly relatable and endearing, each with their own set of flaws and vulnerabilities. I couldn't help but like them all, despite their imperfections and the questionable choices they sometimes made.
“What You Wish For” is a thrilling read that hits all the marks. Dive in for a wild ride of secrets, lies, and justice-seeking that‘ll keep you flipping pages 'til the end!
This is a story of love, betrayal, and the enduring power of art, spanning decades from pre-World War II Germany to contemporary America. Inspired by the real-life Allach porcelain factory in Dachau, the novel is set against the backdrop of the Bauhaus movement in 1929 Weimar. LOVED IT!
I did find myself struggling a bit with the execution of the plot. The story became overly complicated and somewhat tedious. Still, “The Library Thief“ is a captivating read with its haunting narrative and fresh take on the Victorian mystery genre.
Silvertale's strength lies in her ability to create quirky and relatable characters that readers can't help but root for. Mitzy's wit and determination make her a captivating protagonist, and her dynamic with Erick adds a touch of romance to the story. Additionally, the supporting cast, including Silas and Pyewacket, contributes to the book's charm and humor.
“Magical Meet Cute“ by Jean Meltzer offers a whimsical journey into the life of Faye Kaplan, a Jewitch potter navigating love, identity, and the consequences of her magical creations. While Meltzer's witty prose and exploration of serious themes add depth to the narrative, the fusion of romance, fantasy, and weighty topics did not resonate with me.
Jan Moran's “Seabreeze Gala“ unfolds with the promise of restoration and renewal while also alluding to the challenges that threaten the cherished Seabreeze Inn. As the tenth installment in the Summer Beach series, Moran once again delivers a captivating narrative filled with strong women, enduring friendships, and the resilience of family bonds.
The novel alternates between two timelines, effortlessly drawing readers into both the past and the present. In 1928, the explosion at Lamb's Dance Hall left one twin dead and the other forever changed, casting a shadow over the lives of the survivors. Fifty years later, Rose's granddaughter, Daisy, embarks on a quest to uncover the truth behind the tragedy, unraveling long-held secrets and confronting the ghosts of the past.
This is a captivating and well-researched novel. I was immersed in the dangerous and heroic world of resistance fighters during Nazi-occupied Europe. The book's exploration of themes such as sacrifice, bravery, and the resilience of the human spirit resonated strongly with me.
I highly recommend it for fans of historical fiction and World War II literature.
“If you find a Leprechaun, it will help you find where you belong.”
The fairy's message sets Rich on an adventure. The search is difficult. Will he be able to find what he is searching for?
This book‘s magical elements and positive message are particularly suitable for young readers. The colorful illustrations contribute to the overall appeal of the book.
Great gift for children.
One of the standout aspects of the novel is its exploration of real-life issues, such as body image, family dynamics, and workplace sexism, with sensitivity and humor. Rothstein tackles these topics with a light touch, allowing readers to laugh and empathize with the characters while still recognizing the seriousness of the underlying issues.
The blend of science fiction and horror elements is executed seamlessly, creating a truly immersive experience that left me breathless. From its spine-tingling premise to its heart-pounding conclusion, “Dead Silence” is a gripping rollercoaster ride of suspense and terror that will linger in my mind long after the final page.
The book‘s compelling narrative kept me hooked from beginning to end. The characters were well-developed. The protagonist, Frankie McGrath, is a complex, relatable character. Her flaws and strengths were so realistic she could have been any of us. The pacing of the book is fast and engaging, with rapid page-turning action in the first half of the novel specifically.
Hollander's debut novel is a page-turner, skillfully combining elements of mystery, psychological suspense, and drama. The narrative unfolds through Charlie's perspective, providing insight into her struggles with PTSD, survivor's guilt, and the weight of the past. The use of flashbacks and Charlie's recollections keeps the reader engaged and invested in unraveling the truth behind the “Scarlet Christmas” tragedy.
Donna Everhart, one of the best historical Southern fiction authors you will ever find, gives us a protagonist who stays true to her convictions despite the many challenges she faces.
“Catching Dawn“ offers a poignant and thought-provoking exploration of animal rescue, poverty, and the transformative power of love.
“The Boy with the Star Tattoo“ receives five stars for its intricate storytelling, well-researched historical context, and the exploration of post-war challenges faced by Jewish families. Fans of complex historical fiction will find this novel to be a compelling and informative read.
In this book, I really enjoyed the female friendships and the diversity in age and background of the main characters. The support and camaraderie among the women in the story were a central theme that resonated well with me.

This book tells a story of mindfulness and insight into how the surrounding world can really move you.

As Maya battles her illness, the book takes readers on a journey inside her body, introducing them to the tiny warriors—the immune cells—fighting to keep her safe.
I normally love Jillian Cantor‘s books, but I was disappointed in “The Fiction Writer.” I thought it was confusing, the plot dragged on, and the characters were mostly unlikable. (I didn‘t like Olivia at all. Ash gave me the creeps, but I adored Noah.)
Fearless Flossy, a mighty great white shark, is terrified of going to the dentist. Dr. Dribble has a jaw-dropping fear of his own & a strict “No Sharks Allowed” policy.

Peppermint Cookie Murder is a perfect holiday read for those who enjoy cozy mysteries with a touch of magic. Trixie Silvertale has crafted a delightful start to the Christmas Catastrophe Mysteries series, promising readers a tasty whodunit with kind-hearted heroines, furry sidekicks, and a dash of mistletoe magic.
“Lilith“ by Nikki Marmery offers a feminist reimagining of ancient creation myths, focusing on the character of Lilith, who is traditionally portrayed as Adam's first wife. The book takes readers on a journey from her expulsion from Eden through millennia of history as she seeks to restore balance and equality in the world.
“Sunshine Avenue“ by Jan Moran is a delightful addition to the Crown Island series. It took me on an escape to the sunny shores of Southern California. With its charming setting, relatable characters, and themes of love and second chances, this novel is a sweet and heartwarming read.
I loved this book. Wonderful characters. Superb writing.
The characters came to life on the pages, each with their distinct voices, struggles, and dreams. I loved them and cared about what happened to them. I liked how the story was told through the different perspectives of Ben, Golda, and Morty. This let me get into their heads and learn of the hardships they each endured and appreciate how complex the author made these characters and the story itself.
Fast-paced. Suspenseful. Zorn plays loose with the rules which does not set well with his new police chief. The action will have your head spinning – murder, money laundering, art theft, kidnapping. While some of the scenes are a bit unbelievable, it is a thrilling read.
I am always thrilled when Jan Moran releases a new book. This one was a real treat as it was released on my birthday. I took a day to just relax and get lost in her entertaining, family-oriented book. The Summer beach community feels like home to me. Jan‘s series are always a story of family, friendship, and love.
I love this series! I come away feeling as though the characters in Pin Cherry Harbor are my friends. I have an emotional investment in each installment.
I love Trixie‘s style of writing. Mitzy and Pyewacket both are quite snarky, giving the reader some chuckles. Loaded with humor, romance, and mystery, I look forward to each visit to Pin Cherry Harbor.
This book is AMAZING. If you love BOOKS, you need to read this book. Inspired by a true story, it is about how a group of book lovers in Warsaw, Poland created an underground library to save many of the books in their libraries when the Nazis wanted them destroyed.
If you like a psychological thriller that keeps you on the edge of your seat, you must check out Blake Rudman‘s books. He has just started releasing his books this year, so his name is probably not familiar to you. This is the second one of his books that I have read, and I loved both.
This book is suspenseful and hard to put down. It‘s a quick read even at just over 400 pages. I highly recommend it and suggest you keep Rudman on your radar.
I love the variety of magical beings and their personalities – a clever vampire who is the coroner, a sexy blacksmith who is also an alchemist, and Cori‘s merman love interest. There are plenty of twists and turns to keep you guessing who the murderer is.
I loved the characters – Avital, Ethan, Ethan‘s brother Randy, ex-con baker Tootles, Josh, and hippie Rabbi Jason. They seemed so real with their emotions and their flaws, people you would want in your life. The family dramas are real. I am sure they will remind us of all of a family we know.
This is a beautifully illustrated rhyming book designed to help children learn to count from one to ten. It also teaches them about starfish and their environment. The illustrations are of vivid colors sure to attract your child‘s attention. There is additional educational material at the end of the book, along with a special song that can be downloaded. Perfect for children up to six years old.
I loved this book and learned a lot along the way. Based on true events, it is about the all-Black battalion of the Women‘s Army Corps that served in Europe during WWII. Their mission was to sort over one million pieces of mail that had backlogged in Europe. To boost the morale of the soldiers, it was imperative that this mail be delivered to the soldiers and their families.
Billed as a horror novel, after reading it, I consider it more of a psychological horror story, more like a bad LSD trip. It has no “blood and gore,” just a lot of creepy things going on. But it does leave you a bit unsettled. I never really understood it all, but I enjoyed the book.
This is my first book by this author, and I have to say I was disappointed. I should have finished this over the weekend but kept finding myself setting it aside. I did enjoy how the author slowly brought together multiple threads to finally reveal how entangled they are. I thought a couple of the secondary characters actually had more interesting personalities than did the major players. But the ending just did not work for me at all.
Here is the quote that really stuck with me: “We must forgive to go on; when you don‘t forgive, you hold on to the incident…then hatred wins. An important lesson, one of the most important, is don‘t hold on to the injustices done to you.”
Look at the gorgeous cover of ONE WRONG WORD! So honored to give you the first reveal of the new cat-and-mouse thriller from USA Today bestselling and multiple Emmy-winning author @HankPRyan.
Scandal meets The Undoing. Wow. 2/24

Once you read the first chapter of this book, you will find it nearly impossible to put it down. How many of the passengers will survive? And what about the rescuers? How many of them will die in their attempts to save those who are trapped? It will leave you exhausted.
I often find myself drawn to multi-generational family stories. “Banyan Moon” immediately drew me right into the lives of three generations of Vietnamese women – Minh, the grandmother; Huong, the daughter; and Ann, the granddaughter.
This quote sums up the entire premise of the book:
“Next time you receive a penny in change, take a good look at it rather than casually throwing it into your change drawer...Ponder for a moment, the life that Penny has lived, the hands it has passed through, the things it has seen, and the stories it could tell.“
