Found a bunch of books to read on the Audible Backlog this month.
panIt was boring. The characters are very immature and childish. A lot of telling and not showing. The big reveal was predictable for me. ⭐️⭐️

A decent collection of vampire lore from all the way back in antiquity up through to the 1900s. You can definitely see the evolution of these popular creatures of the night, especially the superstitions for dealing with them. My favorite was The Living Dead by Robert Bloch.

The last of this graphic novel trilogy finds the MC helping her ghost friend, Wendell, find out more about his past life and death. She‘s also trying to navigate friendships. A little emotional toward the end—even though I figured out what was coming. Good trilogy.
pickAlso read this tonight. Didn‘t wait to borrow it from my friend. A middle grade/YA graphic novel that continues the stories of ghosts & the 8th grader Marjorie. Introduces a new character who most peers think is “weird”. Has themes of bullying & suicidal thoughts. Marjorie is trying to keep her friendship with ghost Wendell but also can‘t admit he‘s a ghost. 4.5 ⭐️
