What I'm reading next 😊
4/5. This is such a fun and funny read. I loved all of the characters, the sisters Nadine & Lettie especially (they were hilarious!).
The 1st of 2 books my daughter asked me to read to her tonight. We got it from the publisher's book sale. It was just a so-so for me, though. I know some kids really do have over active imaginations, but it seems as if this book encourages kids to tell lies.
Reading something other than 'chick lit' today because I'm trying to read more books by Filipino authors. I started this a couple of months ago but although it's a short novel, it's quite difficult to read since certain sections give vivid narrations of the atrocities that went on during the Philippines' martial law era several decades back.
Just 4/5⭐ because although I did like this book, it didn't quite draw me in the way The Fault in Our Stars did.
New here, and I found this app through Amy Byler 😊
