My first encounter with a graphic novel. Not as descriptive as a written novel,yet so vivid. This book made me think about the place of women's stories in the world,especially that of ordinary women

Starting off this month's reading with Americanah, I'm currently reading the second chapter. I was confused between this one and Purple Hibiscus,but decided to go for Americanah since I recently moved to the United States and could relate to the central character. Has anyone read this book?
