4th on my list of favourite games of 2018 is Frostpunk. A survival, city-builder set in a steampunk, frozen apocalypse. I love the look and sound of this game. It throws you harsh choices to make as you attempt to survive against plummeting temperatures and starvation. This is easily one of my all-time favourites.

I got around to playing some really interesting games last year. Here are my favourites released in 2018:
Starting off is this fantastically cute, Simmiland. Made with very simple sprites, the game is a god sim where you use cards to grant gifts to your little people. There‘s a fair bit of strategy and discovery involved, which had me putting in a lot of hours and enjoyment into this tiny world.
