I love how small this book is, with a lovely cover too- over 100 years old. Iv been noticing in old books there is often an image before the title page, with a thin tracing paper like film between. I‘m assuming this is for protecting image bleed and smearing? I love the style and it‘s always so neat to see how much thought was put into choosing an image for the book.
