Joanna and Ulysses | May Sarton

Pickpick

A quiet and uplifting novella about a woman‘s journey of renewal and revelation of her true self.

Ulysses 🫏 is the instrument of Joanna‘s healing and I wouldn‘t be able to leave him either. Big brown melty 👀

LeahBergen This sounds lovely! 4mo
Tamra @LeahBergen it is and feminist ala 1963. 4mo
batsy I've only read one Sarton and loved it (Journal of a Solitude). This sounds great! 4mo
Tamra @batsy I will stack that one too. 😄 4mo

What If I'm Not a Cat? | Kari-Lynn Winters

3⭐ Overall, I like this book, but I am confused about the message. From the title and in many parts, it seems like a transgender story, but it‘s not. The donkey believes they are a cat because they‘ve been raised with cats, and they come when all the other cats come. The books message is you can be whoever you are and whatever makes you happy. But it could be a confusing story for a transgendered child because it never settles if that is or not OK

Soubhiville Yes I love this video! I got a copy of this for my nephew when the video went viral and in return my step mom sent me a video of my dad reading it aloud to him. Adorable 🥰 12mo
