pickThis slim volume takes into consideration the limited understanding we have of our parents often not seeing them for who they really are. I appreciated Ruth Reichl's willingness to start the conversation and make herself vulnerable by sharing her personal story and what she learned in her own experience. The afterward is excellent and really brings it together.
