"Trying to solve a cold case is proving a bit challenging. Mae has been having memories about the house fire that killed her family, leaving her orphaned. As a child she couldn't do much to prove the fire wasn't an accident, but as an adult and with a group of friends to help, Mae is on the case to put the clues of the past together to bring out the truth. Their investigation heats up making this cold case come to a rolling boil!"--Amazon.com.

Mehso-so

I‘ve previously only listened to the exploits of Mae West and the Laundry Club - and after reading this one, I can see that audio is the best way to enjoy this long running series. It really felt like reading a rough draft, there was so many continuity errors (there‘s always a few but this was glaring). I‘m glad to have seen Mae get some answers, and closure about what happened to her family all those years ago (intentionally lit house fire).
