2.5/5⭐ Not for beginners. Doesn't include safe/effective dosages or practical instruction. Requires intense use of the index to get full information on a particular herb. Formulary theory was interesting. Some info validated and explained my personal experiences with herbs. Some info conflicted (e.g. the author refers to lavender as cooling on one page and warming the next).
