Panpan

Feel a bit bad panning this one. Don't get me wrong, this book tells a harrowing true story of the author being sold into domestic slavery as a young child. She's had an interesting life. Unfortunately this was so atrociously written I could barely finish it. The writing was fragmented, repetitive, clunky, lacking depth and without feeling; in a book which should have been full of it.
