Picture Fit Board Books: A Barnyard of Friends
Picture Fit Board Books: A Barnyard of Friends | Roger Priddy
1 post | 1 read
In A Barnyard of Friends it's fun to find out where each farm animal lives, from pig sty to chicken coop, by exploring the raised and recessed shapes on every page! In this lively and engaging novelty board book, little learners will enjoy meeting cute farm animals, such as cows, sheep, and ducks, and finding out where they live. On the turn of every page, they’ll be excited to discover raised shapes to touch, feel, and explore, that neatly tuck into shaped spaces on the opposite page. Offering a tactile and visual experience that your child will want to repeat time and time again, A Barnyard of Friends is just right for little hands! Also available: A Traffic Jam of Trucks, A Parade of Animals, A Stampede of Dinosaurs, and A Toy Box of Shapes.

Last Sunday we went to Costco, which usually results in a book haul for the kids. The oldest found a book on creating Star Wars themed games using Scratch. The Poke A Dot book has clear plastic bubbles to press while counting animals. A great learning book that produces a noise that is a cross between popping bubble wrap and cracking knuckles. Annoying? Yup. A Barnyard of Friends is a sweet book with layered illustrations. #kidbookhaul #costco

SleepyDragon I would tag the other two, but they aren't in the database. Other Poke a Dot books are, though. I actually did see this one, but liked the Old MacDonald one better. There are a lot of Scratch workbooks out there, and my son has built up a little collection. This one involves creating your own Star Wars sprites, which adds a level he hasn't dealt with before. 6y
