A charming and imaginative new YA novel about getting lost before you can be found, for fans of Adi Alsaids Lets Get Lost and Margo Rabbs Kissing in America.LOSTFrannie and Louis met online when they were both little and have been pen pals ever since. They have never met face-to-face, and they dont know each others real names. All they know is that they both have a mysterious tendency to lose things. Well, really, things just seem to . . . disappear.FOUNDLouis and Frannie both receive news in the mail that sets them off on a road trip to Austin, Texas, looking for answersand each other. Along the way, each one begins to find, as if by magic, important things the other has lost. And by the time they finally meet in person, they realize that the things you lose might be things you werent meant to have at all, and that you never know what you might find if you just take a chance.

Are Frannie and Louis the most mature teenagers to ever grace pages? Throughout the book I just kept thinking, “They‘re kids, right?” And, by the end I thought, “Wow, people in their 40‘s aren‘t this mature or realistic.” It was a really easy read and I enjoyed the little bits of magic.

I liked the characters and enjoyed the banter. However, I just couldn't suspend disbelief enough to fully enjoy the light magical realism or the plot developments. Still, a quick, enjoyable read I don't regret spending time with. Will definitely read other stuff by this author.
