This is tagged as horror, but it really was just a love story. About 80% of it is about Dan and Casey and then it gets into the "horror" which resolved too quickly and wasn't really scary. So I dunno. I have a Jack Ketchum book on my shelf and if it talks as much about breasts and sex as this one does I don't know if I'm interested.

Here‘s my #inktober for today! I was pretty happy with how my lettering came out. It‘s from Ready or Not. I haven‘t watched it yet but want to!

Yet another example of why we should avoid abandoned houses. It only got creepy towards the end. Warning: there is some animal abuse.

There were points of the book that truly interested me. But for a horror/thriller novel, it took much too long to get to the climax despite being less than 200 pages.

Pickpick

Ketchum always delivers, and Hide and Seek is no exception. Slow burn start then balls out horror and it's all over in 200 pages.
You gotta Ketchum all!

I really wanted this to be a great horror book. I loved A Head Full of Ghosts and thought this would be like that. It took way too long to get started and even have some hint of being scary and once it did, it was over. I felt like it was definitely rushed and there were some major typos that were a bit annoying. The idea was interesting, but it really needed to be developed better.
