Pickpick

This is a RF Newberry Award Winning Book. This story explores the many options of what to be when you grow up. It is good to motivate students and show them that they are capable of being anything they want to be and that they have the right to make choices on there own. This would be a great S Book because you could dress up as the different jobs that are in the book.

brittanyg UDL 3.3 guide information processing, visualization and manipulation would relate to storytelling EL 3 encourage self-talk positive thinking https://www.scholastic.com/content/dam/teachers/lesson-plans/migrated-featured-f... this would have students compare what boys and girls could be but I would probably have the same things on both sides to show that they are equal. #UCFLAE3414F17 7y
DrSpalding Your addition to the resource that does not encourage gender stereotyping is wise. You taught me something; I had no idea this book won the Newbery. Good choice! 7y
