This book had some very funny lines and Clara was a fun and realistic main character, in that she had flaws and wasn't the best friend or wife she could be all the time, but it felt a bit dated at times and the ending was a bit rushed. There are 2 more books about her so I will read them but I'm giving this an average pick rather than a YOU MUST READ IT NOW pick

Laru79 I think it'll be a pretty good one, I've read some of Knight's non-fiction and she has a really amiable style, so hopefully it'll come across in her fiction too. This one is the first of 3, so there's more to come! 7y
