This was a cute and short read about Luis Soriana and his burros that are known as the Bibloburros in Columbia. The images are beautiful and tie into the simple wording which makes it great for young readers to follow along and hopefully get into the spirit of reading.

Thanks to a reader on Litsy, this was brought to my attention!!!

And far away in the hills, candles and laterns burn as the children read borrowed books deep into their night, too.

How about libraries that aren't housed in one building? Love this nonfiction picture book about Luis Soriano and how he brings books to people in rural Colombia. Check out Waiting for Biblioburro by Monica Brown (ill. John Parra), too. #SeasonsReadings2016 #setinlibraries
