Silly Sally | Audrey Wood
Pickpick

A simple, fun, and silly read perfect for children of all ages. The story is funny and silly while the pictures are cute and silly as well. Enjoyed it, because picture books are for big kids too! 😉

merelybookish A favourite at our house! (We used to call my son Neddy Buttercup but he won't let us now.) 3w
TheBookAddict 😆 awww, that‘s cute! I used to read it to the kids when I worked at a daycare, but I don‘t think I ever really paid attention to the pictures. It was nice to finally read it just for myself. 🙂👍🏽 3w

Hey @stuck.in.the.stacks since you‘re SO GOOD at solving #BOTM clues can you guess any of these Audible Daily Deals????Anyone else care to offer a guess???? 🤓🙏🏻🕵️‍♀️

Sace Oh my. Those are tough. I couldn't hazard a guess for any of them. 1mo
Cinfhen I‘m thinking @Sace Day 3 might be David Sedaris and Day 8 might be a book by Yuval Noah Harari (edited) 1mo
ljuliel I‘m guessing the last day might be that book about the video game ? I can‘t think of the name if it. It was really popular for a long time and a super thick book. Is this it (edited) 1mo

ljuliel Day 7 might be 1mo
Cinfhen I think Day 12 is this one @ljuliel 1mo
Cinfhen I would be happy if Day 7 was your guess @ljuliel 🤗 1mo
ljuliel That‘s it ! I couldn‘t remember the name of that book. I‘ve never read it but know it was popular and very thick . Thanks for the answer 1mo
Cinfhen I feel for the hype and read it @ljuliel but it wasn‘t my cup of tea 🙄 1mo
ljuliel I‘ve sorta thought the same thing regarding that book. I know lots of people loved it but the subject didn‘t sound like anything I‘d be interested in . 1mo
stuck.in.the.stacks Wow those super vague. I'll to think about these. 😅 1mo
Cinfhen Ha, thought if anyone could decode these @stuck.in.the.stacks it would be you 😘no pressure, of course! 1mo

Published in 1975 The gingerbread boy is a fun classic tale for everyone. I think it is a little sad how the gingerbread boy dies and I don't know how I feel about reading that to kids, I feel like that might be upsetting for them. But he is also a cookie.

Pickpick

This book, a Caldecott award winner, is a story about an old lady who kept swallowing animals to catch the animal she swallowed before it.

I would use this book in my future classroom, because it can get a quiet, more relaxed, classroom more excited and energetic due to how fun and silly you can make your voice while reading it.
