Really cute classic traditional literature with cute pictures

Published in 1975 The gingerbread boy is a fun classic tale for everyone. I think it is a little sad how the gingerbread boy dies and I don't know how I feel about reading that to kids, I feel like that might be upsetting for them. But he is also a cookie.

This book, a Caldecott award winner, is a story about an old lady who kept swallowing animals to catch the animal she swallowed before it.

I would use this book in my future classroom, because it can get a quiet, more relaxed, classroom more excited and energetic due to how fun and silly you can make your voice while reading it.
