This was a very interesting book. Going back and forth from Theo and Alysa‘s perspective made this story so intriguing. A great read if you are looking for a book that keeps you guessing at every turn.

This is the first book that made me cry this year. It is such a tragic story but one that needed to be told. The fact that this book is based on true events makes this story even more important. This is story was raw but wonderfully told. It is a story that is unforgettable and will stay with you.

This felt like a quick read for me. I really loved the biographical. Cudjo‘s story is an emotional journey from tragedy, hope, happiness and grief. His story is one that is not easily forgotten and haunts you even when you have finished the book. Although this Bonn is short it is very powerful.

This was such a great book. My first read by Ruth Ware and now I want to read all her books. I would highly recommend this book especially if you like thrillers. She is an excellent writer who makes sure that you will continue to question what you know or what you think you know until the final page.

Loved this book.

It's been a while since I've read a book of short stories but this book is wonderfully well told and shows the importance of family and accepting yourself for who you really are.

Yes, the twist in this book was great. I did not see it coming. Definitely a book that keeps you guessing until the very end. I loved the character of Anna. She was very well rounded and in depth. This was a great read that keeps you on your toes.

My Sister's Grave | Robert Dugoni

I really liked this book. As someone who loves true crime it was exciting to try to figure out who committed the murder of the main character‘s sister especially with a case that expanded upon almost twenty years. The theme of never giving up on finding answers really resonated with me. This story was really well done.

I usually don‘t read historical fiction books but I thought I would give this one a try. I really liked the story and the characters. Sometimes this book seemed to go a little slow at times. But over all the book was good.

So, I am just going to say straight off the bat: This Book Is Amazing. As a woman of color. Especially an Afro-Caribbean woman it is so refreshing to read a story of a character that reflects a lot of the things that I go though. Queenie as a character is so fleshed out and relatable that it is easy to see her in women that you know. This book is lovely and really hones in on how important taking care of you as a person is before anyone else.

Wow. What can I say about this book? I loved it. It is the kind of story that makes you go through all of the feels. Learning about the different characters and their back story helps you find out how they became the people they became. I was heart broken when two of my favorite characters passed. However, this story is based in the reality of that time. That is what makes it so authentic.

If you are a fan of Greek metrology you will definitely enjoy this book. Such great storytelling and character growth. The setting is perfect in the time that Helen was taken from Troy. The story is full of love, sacrifice and non stop action. I would highly recommend.
