I've become so involved with this book on holiday that it's actually falling apart. I always look after my books and am gutted all the pages are falling out. I'm going to have to buy another copy as this is turning out to be a strong contender for my top 10 book list. #top10 #holidayread

I've had this on my bookshelves and have been imtending to read it for a long time. This bank holiday weekend feels like the right time to sit in the garden and sink into it.

This was a fabulous read. Eleanor is a very loveable character, and the story is a wonderful tale of warmth, friendship and courage. Passing my copy on to someone who I know will also love it.

Well I've not updated on here for a while. I've had a couple of breaks from the Dark Tower series but am back in the thick of it with Wolves of the Calla. I'm only 88 pages in but feel like I'm back with old friends.

This is one of the most beautiful books I have ever read. The descriptions of the beauty of the Forbidden City, mixed with a shocking tales of treachery, deceit and violence make this a very engaging read. And then of course there is the romance..."Yes, my lady. I draw my breath, my every breath, to love you."

I've been a Stephen King fan for many years but have always shied away from the Dark Tower series. I like to mix up my reading and wasn't sure about reading a long series. I have been inspired to pick up a copy of the fist book in the series, The Gunslinger, after watching trailers for the upcoming film. I devoured it in a couple of days, boy it was good. I'm now well into book 2 and am hooked.

I'm not sure I would have picked this up but it was recommended and leant to me by a colleague. So far so good and really enjoying all of the 80's references.

Spending as much time in the deep dark place of Derry as I can today. I love how old and beaten up this paperback is. The character of the physical book is definately adding to the experience. Dark, creepy and addictive.

Kaye Don't you wonder about books this well-read? Like who all has read it before, how many people, how did they like it compared to your opinion? Lots of history inside these books with character. 5y

I picked this up at the airport this week and it's great. I've always liked Sara when I've seen her on the TV, and her character and humour shine through in this book. She covers some serious topics well and I wish I could have read this book alot earlier in my life. So far so good. Hoping to finish it this weekend. Happy bank holiday weekend!

Absolutely loving this. Great storytelling and fabulous characters. This book has been awarded a permanent place on my bookshelves and I will be (selectively!) recommending.
