So I have a secret: I haven't read Harry Potter yet until a few days ago...SURPRISE! I was so scared to start reading it because I didn't know if I'd love it as much as everyone else, but I am quite literally enchanted✨I'm so glad I started this series💟 (edit: not my shelf, but my mom's; isn't it awesome??) #currentlyreading

Pickpick

If you want a realistic kind of thriller, I'd definitely pick up this book. The dialogue and writing is a bit meh and the characters can be dramatic, but there was a plot twist that I really did not see coming. It was spooky, thrilling, and very well thought out.

I'm on the second part (The Ancient Evil) and it is so good. The dialogue is okay, Tony and Allison are making me horribly angry (mostly Tony), but everything is also just so good, I can't wait to finish it! #currentread

I love how connected everything was in this book. There were so many connections between the characters and the events, I kept crying out of heartache and laughing out of happiness and joy and smiles like an idiot for how well everything turned out for NoahandJude (yes, this is intentional). This book pulled me through hell and back and I wouldn't have had it any other way💕

I'm finally reading this! I ordered the book MONTHS ago but couldn't get around reading it until now. I needed a break from fantasy after Empire of Storms😅

This book hit me so hard. I'm going to be in a book hangover for awhile, guys.

What I'm enjoying about this book at the moment is the plot development. There's not too much action, but you're still being taken on a journey with the characters as the plot develops and it seems like everything is being placed together, it's wonderful💕(page 498/689)

Just took this pic for my Instagram and I just really like how it looks💕
So far I've only read TFIOS, Looking for Alaska, Paper Towns, and Will Grayson, Will Grayson and I have not been disappointed☺️

I really need to reread this book. It's been four years and I'm still waiting for the third and final book, but the first two were absolute masterpieces, so the wait is worth it. So much mystery and magic and folklore and an interesting love interest. So good. I recommend this book to literally anyone who asks for a recommendation. Such long and detail and well thought out stories, my heart squeezes with love💕

To be honest, I probably wasn't as into the books as most people were (ahem, Jesse the Reader on BookTube), but I really enjoyed reading the story because it was different and original (from what I've read at least) and I can't wait to see Tim Burton's vision for the movie! EDIT: I'm not completely comfortable posting pics of myself on any bookish account I have, I was just super excited for the filter💕

This was the first book I've read that has ever felt like a chore to finish. The story seemed to be really slow, cliche, and it just couldn't keep my interest. I plan to reread it someday and see if my mind changes. Though, honestly, what probably got me out of it is that I rushed through it to see the movie. But I didn't like the movie either, so I'll see where it goes next time.

britnielizabeth I felt the same way!! I had to finish it though because you can't just start a book and then not finish it. 8y
Adventures_With_April @britnielizabeth Right?! Even though I didn't enjoy the book very much, it still would have bothered me immensely if I didn't just finish it. 8y

If I didn't have class tomorrow, I would spend all night to get more reading done. College is really getting in the way of my reading.
Just two more years, two and one more semester at most🙌🏻

Looking for Alaska | John Green

Can we just take a moment to talk about this absolute roller coaster of feels?
This novel tore me up from the inside out. It's so bittersweet. I was laughing and crying at the same time, I had no idea what to do with myself. It is devastating, sweet, hilarious, and it just feels so REAL, you know? For John's debut novel, it is such a masterpiece.

MrBook Haven't read it, but I've heard great things about it 😊. Welcome to @Litsy ! We hope you enjoy your stay, I think you'll like it here 😎👍🏻. 8y
