So, I‘m giving this yet another try (I think this is the fourth attempt), listening in snippets before I go to bed. Simon Slater is an amazing narrator and I‘ve already gotten further than ever before. But at the rate I‘m going, it‘s going to take me months to finish! Does anyone else listen to books before sleeping?

Texreader It‘s the writing. I did. Not. Like. This. Book. And it was the writing style to blame. I would think audio would be better. 6y
Dogearedcopy If I‘m not doing something else, like playing an app game, audio will put me right to sleep! But no, I didn‘t generally listen to audio at bedtime: I tend to decompress by making up stories in my head! #weirdbuttrue 6y
intothehallofbooks I listen to audiobooks before sleeping! I loooove it! I usually listen for a little while when I actually get in the bed. I love the way it helps me transition from “been going all day long” to “yesss sleep I‘m coming for you” 😊 6y
rubyslippersreads I think this would be very difficult as an audiobook. I loved it, but it took time to get into the writing style and realize that whenever the author refers to "he/him," she means Cromwell. Also, I listen to audiobooks to help me sleep! ? (edited) 6y
